Our Role in the NEDION Ecosystem
Foundational safety principles for public benefit.
Safety.Foundation develops and communicates foundational safety principles and selected governance-oriented safety programmes within the independent NEDION ecosystem.
Our purpose
Safety.Foundation helps to:
- explain Foundation-level safety principles;
- develop and communicate constitutional or non-negotiable safety concepts where formally assigned;
- connect public-benefit safety framing with evidence and governance;
- connect with observation and monitoring functions where appropriate;
- support selected Foundation-led safety programmes.
What belongs elsewhere
The legal and institutional records of Stichting NEDION belong in the controlled NEDION governance repository and on NEDION Foundation where appropriate.
Scientific safety research and the peer-reviewed scholarly record belong to Safety.Science and its responsible publication systems.
The central Safety-to-Freedom pathway belongs at SafetyToFreedom.org.
Relationship to Safety to Freedom
Safety.Foundation contributes foundational safety principles and public-benefit framing to the wider NEDION ecosystem.
It does not duplicate the complete Safety-to-Freedom pathway and does not become an additional principal scientific platform.
The principal scientific pathway remains:
Safety.Science → Integration.Engineering → Freedom.Science
Institutional relationship
Safety.Foundation is a domain of NEDION Foundation and is not a separate legal body.
